IB ACIO 2025 Result Declared: Check Merit List and Download PDF at mha.gov.in

Results of the Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (IB ACIO) Grade-II/Executive Recruitment Exam 2025 have been made public by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). All the exam takers can now visit the official site - mha.gov.in to see their results and get the merit list.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for IB ACIO Tier-I was organized from September 16 to 18, 2025, in various locations around the country. The latest notification states that candidates whose roll numbers are in the published merit list have been selected for the Tier-II exam, the next step in the recruitment process.

IB ACIO Tier-II: What’s Next

The Tier-I exam evaluated the candidates in the areas of general awareness, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and English language skills. Shortlisting of candidates has been based on the marks scored in this step.

The next Tier-II examination will consist of a descriptive paper which would evaluate the candidates' analytical writing, essay writing, and English comprehension skills - important skills for the intelligence, coordination, and reporting activities within the IB.

Additionally, the MHA has indicated that the candidates who have been shortlisted will be notified through email and SMS about the release of the Tier-II admit card. The admit card will carry:

Date and time of the exam

• Details of the test centre
• Reporting instructions
• Documents required

Final Selection Process

The recruitment procedure will consist of the following phases:

• Tier-I (CBT)
• Tier-II (Descriptive Test)
• Interview/Personality Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Fitness Test

The final merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance in all the phases.
